Book Review for: Throne of Fire

Book: Throne of Fire (Kane Chronicles book #2) by Rick Riordan

Rating: 4 1/2 stars

Review:

I thought the Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan was amazing. It was well written and fast paced. It was full of adventure and action as well as humor. As in the first book, The Red Pyramid, the second book is told from both Sadie and Carter's point of view.

Unlike other book series such as the Nicholas Flamel series, the Kane siblings feel like real teenagers. They were not written as if they were perfect but like the average everyday teen who just happen to come from a magical family. The second book centers on the Kane siblings trying to find the Book of Ra as well as trying to locate the missing Egyptian god Ra. The siblings along with their uncle have created a sort of quasi-magic school and try to train new recruits.

I didn't find anything wrong with this book except for a few missing words throughout the book. I would recommend this book, because it was just a fun read.
