Review:

I enjoyed reading this. It was fast paced and had an interesting plot not to mention being quite funny. The mystery focused on the murder of Brittanie Brinkman, the girlfriend of main character Tally Jones' ex-husband. Tally in her attempt to help her ex, decided to investigate the murder. Unfortunately, while she was looking into the murder the police were starting to focus on her as the likely suspect. Tally stumbled along the way as she conducted her investigation which wasn't a bad thing because it showed that she didn't have a real clue how to solve a mystery. She just wanted to help find the killer.

The story was good I just felt like it took a while for the actual mystery solving to get started. I also, started to get a little annoyed with Tally's lack of self-esteem. She was also kind of a door mat but she did start to get better near the end.

I will read the second book to see how the series develops, hopefully it will be a good read as well.
