Book Review: Teen Titans Go! #1

Book: Teen Titans Go! #1

Rating: 5 stars

Review:

Sometimes you just want a funny comic to read and this was really funny. It's just like watching the cartoon series.

This first issue contains two stories:

"Food Fright" by Sholly Fisch with illustrations by Ben Bates

In this amusing story, the Titans were trying to find out who keeps stealing Cyborg's sandwich from the refrigerator. After interrogating each other and figuring out that none of them were the thief, Cyborg set a trap but turns out thief was someone/something that they least expected.

It was partially due to Raven, why they were now having to fight off a demonic pizza. They had a hard time going up against the pizza but in the end they found a way to defeat it.

This was funny.

"Par For The Course" by Merrill Hagan with illustrations by Jorge Corona and color by Jeremy Lawson

This story was even funnier than the first, in this second story the Titans were playing miniature golf. The problem started up with Robin and Beast Boy trying to settle a bet. Meanwhile, Raven and Starfire were bored with the game and decided to go to the arcade to try to win a prize before heading back to the game.

The bet between Robin and Beast Boy was getting out of control but Starfire had an idea to settle it. But from all the trouble and destruction that they caused, the owner banned them for life. You will laugh even more once you see who the owner is.

This was a joy to read. It was just so funny.
