Review:

The Nancy Drew Files is an updated take (it's from the 80's and 90's) on the original series. In this story Nancy was asked by Ned's friend Dr. Trevor Callahan to see who was really behind two major medical mistakes that were being blamed on him. One of them includes the death of his fiancĂ© Dr. April Shaw's father who was also a doctor.

Trevor knows he didn't do it and he wants Nancy to try to clear his name or his medical career and possibly his relationship with April will both come to an end. A great way that will clear him of any wrong doing in regards to April's father is for the hospital to do an autopsy but before that can occur someone's stole the body and the files of the two patients.

Nancy took a volunteer job at the hospital so she could have more access to the case. But the more she looked into the case the more questions she had. Something strange was going on at that hospital and Nancy was going to have to work really hard to figure it out.

Something that surprised me about this story was that Nancy's friends Bess and George didn't help her with the mystery solving. She got some assistance from her boyfriend Ned.

This was a suspenseful story with Nancy's life being threatened but she was not going let someone stop her from solving this case.

Despite being updated, Nancy still has her adventurous spirit and doesn't let danger stop her in her tracks. She's also still no damsel-in-distress and her mystery skills are top notched.
