Review:

Although volume #3 features three one-shot stories they each connect by showing the Evil Queen using one of her new allies to wreck havoc and death upon others.

The first story Godstorm: Age of Darkness written by Pat Shand with illustrations by Noah Salonga and Andrea Meloni. It focused on Zeus as he deals with his death and new transformation. It also focused on one of his children Julian who had also had a sort of transformation. The Evil Queen's ally in this story was the newly brought back to life Venus who went after Zeus while he was in his new form.

The second story Wonderland: Age of Darkness written by Eric M. Esquivel with illustrations by Vincenzo Riccardi. This story takes place sometime after Wonderland: Asylum vol #1, with Violet and her mother Calie were both attacked. While Calie was asleep her dream had been enchanted by the Queen to keep her busy so that one of her minions/allies could go after Violet. The Evil Queen was trying to get Callie to become one of allies and run Wonderland but she refused. But no one refuses the Queen which had Callie making a very difficult decision.

The last story Oz: Age of Darkness written by Jeff Massey with illustrations by Lalit Kumar Sharma and Antonio Bifulco. This story lives up to the darkness title, because Oz has had several long years of good time and prosperity but the Evil Queen has removed the Warlord from his imprisonment. He is soon going after the people of Oz including Queen Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Lion and Toto. He is pure evil and it doesn't look like a fight that Oz may win this time.

The stories for the Age of Darkness continue to show the Evil Queen building up her army and collecting new allies along the way. They are well written and definitely dark and had me wondering how the heroes will eventually stop the Queen.
