Book Review: Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #55

Scooby Doo Where Are You #55

Book: Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #55

Rating: 4 stars

Review:

1st story: Stage and Scream by Sholly Fisch with illustrations by Dario Brizuela and color by Candace Schinzler-Bell

In this story, Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Velma and Daphne attended a sneak preview for the upcoming Hyperman IV movie. However, before the movie could be shown, a monster attacked scaring the audience away. But it wasn't just any monster it was Monstarr The Malevolent from the movie series.

During the chaos of the monster attack, the movie was stolen and when a new friend was accused of the crime the gang tries to solve the mystery.

2nd story: Scooby-Doo! in To Haunt or Not To Haunt by Dan Abnett with illustrations by Anthony Williams, ink by Dan Davis and color by Paul Becton

The second story finds the gang in England as they try to stop a ghost from ruining the production of Macbeth that is if Shaggy and Scooby's antics don't ruin the play first.

I love reading the Scooby-Doo! comic because first you don't need to read them in numerical order or read multiple issues for one story, instead you get two complete stories per issue. Second, they're a fun read and you get an interesting mystery. Which is why I continue to enjoy this series.
