Fashion Meets Fandom: Angela Lopez (The Rookie)

The Rookie's Angela Lopez may have gone from uniformed Police Officer to Police Detective but she still wears a uniform of sorts. While as a detective, Angela's work wardrobe consist of: blazers, graphic t-shirts (usually featuring musicians or rock bands), tops, jeans and pants.

What I love about the blazer is that it can be styled in so many different ways. Angela tends to wear hers mainly with jeans and a graphic t-shirt for a professional yet casual look.

I was inspired by Angela to create an outfit that I think she would wear to work. I found a black blazer and paired it with a Prince and the Revolution: Purple Rain t-shirt and black skinny jeans. This look is casual and comfortable for long hours of work. However, it still has that professional and sophisticated feel to it. To complete the look, I would pair it with booties preferable something comfortable yet stylish.
