My Review:
This book featured 15 short stories/essays filled with cynical humor about the author's life ranging from her family to her career in playwriting.
I found this book to be quite funny especially when she was talking about the crazy things her children were doing or when describing the latest diet craze that was trending during that time. There was also another funny and interesting story about a writer who was tired of the New York City rat race decided to give it up and head to the country, it was interesting because she started describing how the writer's writing started to change once he'd become transformed by the country.
This was an enjoyable read and gave you a glimpse of the 1950s as told by the author. I also really like the funny illustrations that was shown throughout the book. They went perfectly with each story.
