Review:

Superheroes and Super villains, no way it's all about the Super-Pets. This book is so cute. From the well known to the most obscure, this book gives you the bios of the Super-Pets: heroes and villains. This is not some dreary and dull encyclopedia, it's funny and full of color. Some of the pets made me laugh, from their crazy descriptions and names to their weird powers and not to mention the art. Oh, there's also cute corny little jokes that appear at the end of some of bio pages, that will have little children laughing.

I love the adorable art by Art Baltazar, it is simplistic yet has a lot of charm and character, which is perfect for children. There is nothing that will scare them, even the villains are cute.

Besides finding out the facts about the pets you also learn about the pets' favorite food such as Jewellion (Amethyst's pet pegacorn) likes to eat pearl onions and Kypto the Super Dog likes Ka-pow! chow.

Since the main audience for this book are children, this may not satisfy the reader who's looking for more detailed information such as which issue of which book each character premiered in, etc., this is just a fun and lighthearted reference book that showcase the pets of the DC Universe.
