Book: Vinland Saga volume #1 (chapters #1-4) by Makoto Yukimura

Review:
In the first two chapters of this volume the story has young Thorfinn out to seek revenge against the Viking leader Askeladd who had killed his father. But since Thorfinn lives by a code of honor he continues to work with Askeladd until he can finally seek his vengeance. The last two chapters gives the reader a flash back story about Thorfinn's family when he was younger. It showed how honorable his father was and how compassionate he was.
This was interesting but there were times when I found the story to be a little boring. I really enjoyed the artwork, it had a lot of movement and action to it. This first volume might not have been my favorite but I'm still want to read the second volume to see how the story will develop.
