Review:

The first issue of Scribblenauts Unmasked was really funny. The story has The Phantom Stranger going to see Madame Xanadu about a terrible dream he had. She used her tarot cards to tell him the meaning of his dream.

The dream had terrible things happening in Gotham with villains taking down the Bat Family and in Metropolis with the citizens turning against Superman. And there is even more worst thing to come.

He was then told of two heroes who could help from Earth i, Max (who uses his imagination and a magical notebook) and Lily (who has a magical globe that she can use for traveling).  After The Phantom Stranger traveled to the alternate planet, he along with the two heroes returned and traveled to Gotham. They got there just in time to help Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl try to stop a group of villains which included the Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Catwoman and more.

Unfortunately, they didn't get there in time to help Red Robin who was already knocked out. Poor Timmy (Well at least he wasn't wearing that hideous new 52 Red Robin costume. The artist drew him in his old pre 52 Red Robin uniform).

Since this was written for all ages, I think it's perfect for kids to read. It definitely had me laughing. The story ends with The Phantom Stranger, Max and Lily on there way to Metropolis.
