Review:

This was AMAZING! It's by far at the top of my list of favorite books especially with the way the author Allan Hinberg was able to capture who Diana is, as well as tell an exciting and entertaining well written story. I also really like the artwork and color as well.

These issues had Diana dealing with the after effect from her decision to stopped being Wonder Woman after she took the life of Maxwell Lord. And now her former side kick and Amazon sister Donna Troy has taken over as Wonder Woman.

The story opens with Wonder Woman arriving at the scene of a hostage situation. It seems Steve Trevor has been captured and the one demand from the captors is they want to deal with the "real" Wonder Woman.

Donna being the hero that she is took the challenge to rescue the hostage. It turned out to be more than she expected especially with the Cheetah, Giganta and Dr. Psycho showing up. Donna was able to rescue Steve but wasn't quite able to take down the three. Even Steve wasn't quite himself, turns out he's special agent Nemesis who was undercover for the Department of Metahuman Affairs.

This was all to try to draw out Diana which should have been the last thing these villains should have done. But there was a lot more going on besides these three trying to goad Diana into making a comeback.

I loved reading every page of it because not only did Diana prove she's one of the best superheros but the story also included some great cameos: Batman, Robin (Tim Drake), Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), Superman, the Justice League, the Justice Society and more.

In addition this story brought back Agent Diana Prince which I also thought was a great civilian identity for Wonder Woman. It give her a chance to still fight crime and injustice but it also gives her a way to gain a little understanding of the mortal world.
