Wonder Woman is Getting a New Comic Book Series!!!!

As a Wonder Woman fan, this is the good news I have been waiting to hear. Wonder Woman is finally getting a second series, it will be similar in nature to "The Legends of The Dark Knight" and "Adventures of Superman" where the stories will have no connection to the New 52.

The title for the new series is "Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman" and will be a digital first comic. It will premiere this August with print issues being released on August 20th. The first story will be written by Gail Simone with illustrations by Ethan Van Sciver.

I am really looking forward to this new series. It's about time that Wonder Woman is starting to get the promotion and attention that the character deserves. I'm also happy that these stories will have absolutely nothing to do with the New 52. It's so nice to see that the classic Wonder Woman is finally back. 

I do hope some of the stories will include: Steve Trevor, Etta Candy, Donna Troy, Cassie Sandsmark, and the Amazons. I also hope that Wonder Woman's own villains such as The Cheetah, Giganta, Circe, etc. will show up as well. Because the first story seems to have Diana going up against Batman's villains.
