Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon book 2 Review: Nancy Drew: The Greek Symbol Mystery

Book: Nancy Drew: The Greek Symbol Mystery (Nancy Drew book #60) by Carolyn Keene

Rating: 4 stars

Review:

Nancy Drew and her two best friends, cousins George and Bess found danger and mystery while traveling through Greece. The trio were trying to solve two mysteries: the first was trying to figure out what happed to the missing money that Mrs. Thompson was sending to an agency. The agency was supposed to send the money to a needy family in Greece. At first the family was receiving the money but suddenly the money stopped. Leaving Mrs. Thompson to hire Nancy to solve the problem.

The second mystery which her father Carson Drew, a lawyer, needed her to help him locate his client's cousin and the possible connection to a missing inheritance that his client was to acquire.

All of Nancy's sleuthing also put her on the police's radar. They believed she was part of a smuggling ring that were stealing artifacts. And unlike back home in River Heights some of the police in Greece didn't appreciated her investigating.

This was a tough case for Nancy and her friends because they kept running into dead ends at every turn. None of their leads were leading them anywhere at first but then things started to change.

I've never been to Greece but I so want to and the way all of the scenery was described really makes me want to go even more. Amongst all the beauty, Nancy had her hands full with trying to solve both cases.
