Review:

This is a race car comic for children which includes three stories:

1st Story: "The Race at Harewood"

In this story, the reader is introduced to March Hare and his family who are on their way to the race track. March will be racing in the big Harewood race, helping him is his friend and crew chief Hammond but after a disastrous test run against Lyca, March's race car needed immediate repairs. He and Hammond got some much needed assistance from his family other wise he would have never been ready for the race.

During the race, March is going to have to use all of his skills if he's going to make it to the finish line. However, with Lyca aiming for the win will March have what it takes to succeed?

2nd Story: "The Baker's Run"

This story follows March who after cutting the ribbon at the grand opening of his sister April's bakery helps her deliver her first order of 200 apple tarts for the Mayor. The order is supposed to be delivered by the afternoon but her delivery van is not exactly a race car and it's moving too slow for March who decides to take a short cut. Along for the journey is March's friend Hammond.

However, that short cut caused nothing but problems and not to mention Hammond had been eating the Mayor's order. April's first big order and March and Hammond have wrecked it. Will they be able to fix it and make the delivery on time?

3rd Story: "The Grand Desert Rally"

In this story, March and Hammond who will not only be his crew chief  but will also be his co-driver as they go to Kadar Island for The Grand Desert Rally.  This race is nothing like March has ever driven in, it's more like an obstacle course/endurance race than a regular race.

The rally also has March going up against his rival Lyca but something he hadn't been counting on was his sister May being Lyca's co-driver/crew chief.

Once the race started, March had one goal and that was to win but along the way he and Hammond kept running into other teams who needed help. After assisting them, it put March further and further away from wining but according to racing legend Alan Tuttle (who is March's favorite racer) wining the race isn't important it that you finish.

This race may have both March and May seeing what's really important in the end.

March Grand Prix is such a wonderful and exciting comic book, it will have kids eager to see what March will do next. What I like about this book is that each story teach kids something such as problem solving but without it being too preachy.
