Artwork: Oracle by Alex Garner
Barbara Gordon as Oracle was great. There was nothing handicapped about her. Alex Garner's picture captured her perfectly. I thought what they did in the comics was great, intead of showing Barbara being shown depressed from the Joker shooting her and thus paralyzing her (read The Killing Joke), Barbara transformed herself into the information powerhouse Oracle.
She was still as much a hero as when she was Batgirl. I am reading the new 52 Batgirl series but I still miss her as Oracle.
