I didn't think I was going to like Asami but surprisingly she became one of my favorite characters on TLoK. Instead of being just another rich girl, she turned out to be an essential member of Team Avatar. Asami was smart, tough, resourceful and not to mention stylish. She also has amazing hair (Can you be envious of an animated character?).
Hopefully, in the second season they will not have her dwelling on her break-up with Mako. She doesn't strike me as someone who would be sitting around moping that her loser boyfriend sort of dumped her. She will probably be too busy running Future Industries to worry about that.
