Sundays are perfect for staying in to read (especially with the crappy weather). I'm still reading "The Lost Hero" and so far - I'm only a little over a 100 pages in - it's really good. It's full of action but the story is so compelling I just can't put it down.
It's been a week since I've signed up for Twitter and I'm still getting used to it. To me it feels like you're in a conversation with a lot of people that are all talking at the same time with no one actually listening. I've been trying to see if I can find other book lovers like me. I'm going to give myself until the end of the month to see if enjoy it. Since I am interested in other things besides my love of reading, I'll start adding post on other things like fashion & beauty and more.
I'm in a book buying mood. I've been going through my extremely long wish list to see which books I really want to read now but so far I haven't made any purchases. When I do, I'll post them.
I did get another book (from my mom), "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. Isn't she the greatest, thanks mom. I will put the book description up tomorrow.
Let's see is there anything else. Oh yeah if you read DC Comics you might be interested to know they have canceled seven more books:
1. Superman Family Adventures
2. Sword and Sorcery
3. Fury of the Firestorm
4. Ravagers
5. Savage Hawkman
6. Deathstroke
7. Team 7
If you're keeping track, they have canceled 23 books in nearly two years since this re-boot. I wonder if they will ever admit that the re-boot didn't work.
Before I forget, I wanted to know if there are any books I should read? Let me know.
Thanks,
Book Girl
