Comic Book Wednesday: 11 books on my reading list: Scooby Doo, Batman, Fearless Defenders and more

For this Comic Book Wednesday, these are the books that I can't wait to read. There is one I didn't include: Detective Comics #21. One of my least favorite characters Harper Row will be showing up for that issue and I'm not sure I want to read it. She's really annoying.

Anyway, here's my not so long list:

Book: Legends of The Dark Knight #9

Description:

Scarecrow believes that fear is your friend, and he wants to help Batman get in touch with that emotion. Will his new fear toxin succeed? And in “Tap Tap,” Batman sets out to trap a thief in the home of a billionaire investment banker but falls afoul of a security system far more elaborate than he expected. Guest-starring Catwoman!

Book: The Superior Spider-Man #11

Description:

“No Escape” Part 1 of 3 The Spider-Slayer is scheduled for execution and Mayor J. Jonah Jameson is leaving nothing to chance. To ensure that everything goes according to plan, Jameson’s called in the one man he can trust to oversee everything—the Superior Spider-Man. Since the startling events of Superior Spider-Man #9, will anyone realize that things have changed...?

Book: Scooby Doo, Where Are You? #34

Description:

When an alien abducts an important public figure and the Mystery Machine, it’s up to Scooby and the gang to crack the case and get their wheels back!

Book: AME-Comi Girls #4

In this epic issue, Power Girl and Green Lantern battle Star Sapphire while The Atom goes inside Supergirl’s brain to remove the last vestige of Brainiac! Plus: Prepare for the origin and coming of…Sinestra!

Book: The Movement #2

Description:

The unrest in Coral City heats up as citizens clash with the police. Which side stands to gain when super powered protestors enter the fray?

Book: Earth 2 #13

Description:

Captain Steel debuts as the World Army sends the hero into the Fire Pits left over from the war with Apocalypse, but even Earth 2’s newest hero isn’t ready for what is hidden within the burning reminders of the conflict that killed Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

Book: The Fearless Defenders #5

Description:

All the fearless ladies on this cover are actually in this issue! Plus: Valkyrie v.s. She Hulk!

Book: Hawkeye #11

Description:

Literally… the entire issue… it’s all from the dog’s point-of-view. Pizza Dog gets hired to solve a crime -- the grizzly murder that shocked Team Hawkguy -- and the only thing more shocking than THAT… is what happens the end of THIS. Seriously. This is not a joke! Even the coloring. Dog issue. We’re all gettin’ fired. PLEASE READ…

Book: Batwing #21
