Do you have a favorite Christmas/Holiday book?

These are the four books that always have me feeling happy about Christmas:

First is "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, what's not to love about this book. A mean and stingy man who needed to re-learn the real meaning of Christmas.

A Christmas Carol

Second is "Batman: Noel" by Lee Bermejo which is an adaptation of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol". This story has Batman being shown how he has forgotten about the meaning of what he does. This was very well written.

Third, "Scenes from a Holiday" features three short stories that center around the holiday season:  "The Eight Dates of Hanukkah" by Laurie Graff, "Carrie Pilby's New Year's Resolution" by Caren Lissner and "Emma Townsend Saves Christmas" by Melanie Murray. These were really cute and festive stories.

Scenes From A Holiday

And last is "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham. Who says you have to celebrate Christmas? Not the Kranks. This was really funny and had a great story.

Skipping Christmas

I enjoyed reading each of these books. They evoke something different about the holiday season whether it's humor or meaning. Which is why they're my favorite Christmas/Holiday books.

Do you have a favorite holiday book? I'd love to know.
