There seems to be a lot of stock in those rumors that Dick will no longer be Nightwing. Since his identity has been reveal during the Forever Evil plot, how will he continue to operate if everyone knows who he is? What about the rest of the Bat Family (and I say that loosely, since they don't even remotely act like a family)? Will it affect them?
As of now, no answers to those questions have been given but according to Scott Synder via his Twitter account, there will be a female Nightwing in Batman #28. So what does that mean for Dick Grayson.
As a fan of Grayson's I really hope they don't kill him off. He's one of my favorite characters. I do wish the new 52 Nightwing wasn't such a dark and bleak series. Dick Grayson has always been a fun character but DC Comics seemed to have forgotten that in their attempt to reboot the character and the series.
I wonder if it's possible to just create a new series and just forget about the new 52 and just give Dick a better well written series. Too bad it probably won't happen and now we will just have to wait and see what Dick Grayson's future will be in the new 52.
