I'm so tired of hearing people say "no one reads anymore", it's a total myth. Unfortunately, it's a very popular opinion.
Yes, there is a bit of bad news with some bookstores suffering but that's not due to people not reading that is do to competition from online deals and digital books. So, I never believe anyone when they say that about no one is reading. I highly doubt that no one in the whole entire world is reading.
And another unfortunate yet popular opinion is that "reading is boring", regardless that there are avid readers out there.
Hopefully, in the future these two opinions will start to go away because there are so many people in the world that love to read.
