Book: Manhunting by Jennifer Cruise
Rating: 3 stars
Review:
This was a light and fluffy book. Kate Svenson, an uptight and stuffy business woman, decides to take a vacation (a good suggestion from her best friend Jessie) to a resort in a small town after being tired of her less than appealing love life in the big city. Armed with her romantic business plan, Kate sets out to find the man of her dreams but things don't go well at least for the guys she goes out with. She tossed one jerk into the pool for being a bit too grabby. All along while she was meeting these guys, the one guy she had no interest in was slowing making his way into her heart, Jake Templeton a crabby yet easy going guy who gave up on romance and city life. Jake had no interest in falling in love again but try as he could he couldn't seem to resist Kate.
Kate and Jake's romance issues wasn't the only one in the book, there was Penny a young woman who was engaged but wasn't sure if he was the right guy and was at the resort to have a little fun before she gets married. Then there was Will and Valerie. Will owned the resort where Kate was staying at and was Jake's younger brother and Valerie was his annoying and power hunger girlfriend that no one seemed to like.
I thought this was a cute story and it was funny and interesting. It was just a fun read.
