Fitness Friday: Getting in Shape



Last Friday, I wrote that I started running, which didn't go so well. My first run was really awful. I'm not exactly out of shape but I'm not as in shape as I would like to be (or used to be). So, this week I was able to fit in two 30 minute workouts and a run. I'm starting out slow and so as not to over do it. My run this time turned out a lot better. I didn't stop and take as many breaks so that's something. I'm still not that good but hey I'm trying.

There is this upcoming local Comic Con that I'm thinking about going to. Those shows are usually really busy and the venue is huge. And you definitely need to be in good shape especially for all the walking. And even though I won't be wearing a costume I want to look and feel better than I currently am.

Sitting at a desk as well as time sitting around reading, I would say have brought about the extra weight. Okay, and the snacks and some really good food. So, I'm getting myself back in shape and hopefully in a couple of months I can state that I have lost the extra weight.
