Currently Reading: Shakespeare's Secret and Secret Invasion: Thor

Two more books that I found at the library that I will be start reading today. The mysterious premise for Shakespeare's Secret seems really interesting as well as it will be interesting to read why Thor is in Oklahoma.

Book: Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach

Description:

A Missing Diamond. A 500-year-old Necklace. A Mystery Dating Back to the Time of William Shakespeare...

Named after a character from a Shakespearean play, Hero anticipates having a rough time starting the sixth grade at her new school. She isn't at all interested in this literary connection -- not until she finds that there may be a diamond hidden in her new house, and that it may hold the key to the mystery of Shakespeare's true identity. All of a sudden, her name is very interesting and so is Danny Cordova, the most popular boy in school (and the cutest) who seems intent on uncovering the mystery with Hero.

Book: Secret Invasion: Thor (issues #1-3) by Matt Fraction with illustration by Doug Braithwaite with color by Brian Reber and Paul Mounts

Includes a bonus issue of Thor #142 by Stan Lee with illustrations by Jack Kirby

Description:

The Skrulls are coming for Asgard, and they've got the gods in their sights! But it's not just the pantheon who stand to suffer the repercussions of the aliens' secret invasion - the citizens of small-town Broxton, Oklahoma are about to become collateral damage in the attack, and the God of Thunder must defend two cites at once! For a job this big, Thor will have to turn to one of his oldest and closest allies - Beta Ray Bill!
