Fitness Monday: A daily 5 minute walk



Everyone post something for Fitness Friday so I thought why not do Fitness Monday instead. According to fitness expert Kathy Kaehler, "working out on a Monday sets a mental pattern that helps you stick with it for the rest of the week". And by Friday I say that's pretty much the end of the week.

To keep myself motivated I want to start posting on Monday. My goal is to walk (or run if possible) at least 5 minutes a day. If I can get in more time that would be great but I'll be happy with just doing 5 minutes. It shouldn't be too hard to find five minutes for a walk.

I already reached my goal for the day, earlier I went for a quick walk. Even though it wasn't long it did help with that afternoon slump.
