Book of Interest: Binge

My bookaholic friend has been recommending to me this book for quite a while. Every time he calls me, the first thing he says is have you read Binge yet. In which I always say "no, I have not". Prior to reading a Seventeen magazine interview of the author which also included an excerpt from this book, I had no idea who he was.

Apparently, he's a YouTube sensation who is known for oversharing. The excerpt seemed interesting and I'm always looking for something new to read so I added it to  my wishlist. Maybe once I give it a read, it will stop my friend from annoying me.

Book: Binge by Tyler Oakley

Description:

Pop-culture phenomenon, social rights advocate, and the most prominent LGBTQ+ voice on YouTube, Tyler Oakley brings you his first collection of witty, personal, and hilarious essays.

For someone who made a career out of over-sharing on the Internet, Tyler has a shocking number of personal mishaps and shenanigans to reveal in his first book: experiencing a legitimate rage blackout in a Cheesecake Factory; negotiating a tense standoff with a White House official; crashing a car in front of his entire high school, in an Arby’s uniform; projectile vomiting while bartering with a grandmother; and so much more. In Binge, Tyler delivers his best untold, hilariously side-splitting moments with the trademark flair that made him a star.
