365 Days of Books of Interest: Day #107: The Flash by Geoff Johns book one

Years ago when I was reading The Flash comics, Wally West was The Flash. Before you ask, yes I did I read comics that featured Barry Allen as The Flash. Even though I like Barry, I just found him to be not as fun in the role as Wally.

I'm glad that DC Comics has been republishing many of the old issues with Wally because there were issues that I missed. And now this will give me a chance to catch up.

Book: The Flash by Geoff Johns book one (#164-176 and The Flash: Iron Heights) with illustrations by Scott Kolins, Angel Unzueta and Ethan Van Sciver

Description:

In 2000, Geoff Johns redefined THE FLASH for a new generation. Now you can re-experience his unforgettable five-year run in these stunning tales of Wally West, The Fastest Man Alive!

When the Flash breaks through space and time to reach a parallel Earth, it mirrors our own—except for one big difference: there is no Speed Force. Disconnected from the energy source that powers all super-speedsters, this is a world where The Flash never existed, and has become deadly for anyone who wears a mask. Powerless and hunted by the law, the only way Wally West can survive and escape is to accept help from those he trusts the least—his own Rogues Gallery!
