Yesterday, I went to the library with the intention of checking out "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" by Marie Kondo but it was already checked out. However, the author's other book "Spark Joy: An Illustrated Master Class on the Art of Organizing and Tidying Up" was there. I immediately grabbed it and checked out.
Last night, I started reading "Spark Joy" and I should have my review posted by Monday as well as the results of using the Kondo method.
I think I've come to a point in my life where my stuff has gotten a little out of control. My collectibles are starting to pile up and my clothes seemed to have multiplied, along with my books. For a while now, I've been putting off doing the big clean since I've been very busy but no more excuses. This weekend I'm going to see if Marie Kondo has either created the world's greatest organizing system or just the latest craze. One good thing about doing this cleaning project, my place is small so hopefully it won't take more than two days to declutter and organize it.
