365 Books of Interest: Day #214: The Gunslinger

I can't believe I didn't know anything about Stephen King's The Dark Tower series until I heard it was being turned into a movie which will star Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. I would like to read the first book (out of 8) before the movie is out next year. Westerns are not something usually read but I would to expand my interests.
