365 Days of Books of Interest: Day #220: Suicide Squad (Novelization)

I might not have any desire at the moment to actually go to the theater to see Suicide Squad. I heard some really bad reviews from friends who went and saw it and plus I'm was going to wait until it was out on DVD/Blu-ray anyway.

However, with that said, I am interested in reading the novelization. Perhaps this adaptation adds something more to the story. Who knows I would at least like to give it a read.

Book: Suicide Squad: The Official Movie Novelization by Marv Wolfman

Description:

Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous imprisoned super criminals, provide them the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them to defeat an enigmatic, unstoppable enemy.

U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has gathered a group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose. Once they figure out they were chosen to fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die beating the odds, or decide it’s every man for himself?
