Book of Interest: The Dante Club

I was at the thrift store earlier when I spotted this book, the description seems really interesting. The book has a group of historical figures trying to solve the mystery of several brutal murders.

I didn't buy the book or any books for that matter, I really just went in the store to see what was on the shelves. I would like to read this, it really does seem interesting.

Book: The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl

Description:

Boston, 1865. A series of murders, all of them inspired by scenes in Dante’s Inferno. Only an elite group of America’s first Dante scholars — Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Oliver Wendell Holmes, James Russell Lowell, and J. T. Fields — can solve the mystery. With the police baffled, more lives endangered, and Dante’s literary future at stake, the Dante Club must shed its sheltered literary existence and find the killer.
