Weekend Films: The Dark Tower and Kidnap

Wow, there are two movies out this weekend that I want to see. I will admit that it's nice every now and then seeing a movie not based on comic book characters. The trailer for The Dark Tower looks so amazing and it definitely makes me want to read the book series. As for Kidnap, I can only imagine the horror for any parent of their child being abducted and doing everything they can to get them back. I really want to see both movies.

The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

A mother (Halle Berry) stops at nothing to recover her kidnapped son (Sage Correa).
