Comic Book Wednesday: November 15th Picks

Time for a brand new week of comics and a new ongoing series: Fence.  It's a sports series centering around the art of fencing. I was looking for something different to read, so I added it to my list.

My list is a little sparse with only four books but here it is:

Boom! Studios

Fence #1

Book: Fence #1

Description:

Novelist C.S. Pacat (Captive Prince) and fan-favorite artist Johanna the Mad team up for a new series perfect for fans of Check, Please! and Yuri!!! on Ice.

Sixteen-year-old Nicholas Cox is an outsider to the competitive fencing world. Filled with raw talent but lacking proper training, he signs up for a competition that puts him head-to-head with fencing prodigy Seiji Katayama...and on the road to the elite all-boys school Kings Row. A chance at a real team and a place to belong awaits him -- if he can make the cut!

DC Comics

Aquaman #30

Book: Aquaman #30

Meanwhile, Mera attempts a dangerous new plan to penetrate the Crown of Thorns and reunite with the love of her life... at the cost of her own soul!

Nightwing #33

Book: Nightwing #33

"IMPERIUS LEX" part three!

Steppenwolf, field general of Apokolips, enlists Superman's son Jon into his Canine Cavalry to stop Superman from helping Luthor reclaim the throne once held by Darkseid.
