Carrie Fisher: In Remembrance and Quotes

It's been a year since the death of Carrie Fisher and as fans we continue to show our love and support for the legendary actress, writer and activist. Despite growing up as Hollywood royalty, her life was no fairy tale. But what always surprised me about her is that she let the world in on the reality of her life such as experiencing mental health issues and her addiction. She never shied away from using her life as a way to help others.

Similar to her infamous character Princess/General Leia, Carrie Fisher was witty, outspoken, compassionate, feisty, imperfect, vulnerable and fierce. Fisher will never be forgotten because she has touched so many lives and continues to. She was a hero on and off the screen.
