Currently Reading: Summer and the City

I'm postponing my reading of Bliss at least for now. I enjoyed what I've read so far but right now I just wanted to read something else. Searching through my bookcase I found Summer and the City.

I loved the first book, The Carrie Diaries and I figured it's a good time to read the finale book in the series. And at the end of first book, Carrie Bradshaw finally made it to New York City but not without something terrible happening but it also gave her the opportunity of meeting one of her future best friends Samantha Jones.

I can't wait to start reading this because I'm sure even more craziness is bound to happen to Carrie along with her meeting her other future best friend Miranda Hobbes in this sequel.

Book: Summer and the City (The Carrie Diaries book #2) by Candace Bushnell

Edition: Paperback

Description:

SUMMER AND THE CITY brings surprising revelations as Carrie learns to navigate her way around the Big Apple, going from being a country "sparrow" -- as Samantha Jones dubs her -- to the person she always wanted to be. But as it becomes increasingly difficult to reconcile her past with her future, Carrie realizes that making it in New York is much more complicated than she ever imagined.

With her signature wit and sparkling humor, Candace Bushnell reveals the irresistible story of how Carrie met Samantha and Miranda, and what turned a small-town girl into one of New York City's most unforgettable icons, Carrie Bradshaw.
