Weekend Film: Adrift

After two weekends of comic book and Star Wars movies, I want to see something different. I was thinking of going to see Adrift, it's a survival story based on the book "Red Sky in Mourning: The True story of Love, Loss and Survival at Sea" by Tami Oldham. I'll add this to my wishlist, so I can read it later.

The trailer looks really good, obviously Tami makes it since she wrote a book but it will be interesting to see if Richard does especially since his character barely seems to be hanging on. I think I'm going to go see this.

Adrift

Starring: Shailene Woodley, Sam Clafin, Grace Palmer, Jeffery Thomas and more

Description:

Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp couldn’t anticipate they would be sailing directly into one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in recorded history. In the aftermath of the storm, Tami awakens to find Richard badly injured and their boat in ruins. With no hope for rescue, Tami must find the strength and determination to save herself and the only man she has ever loved.
