The "Nearlyweds" was a Wonderful Movie about Friendship

I wanted to post something about one of my favorite movies, the Hallmark channel movie Nearlyweds, which it based on the novel by Beth Kendricks (a book I plan to read). It's a cute romantic-comedy that follows three 20-something best friends Erin (Danielle Panabaker), Casey (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Stella (Britt Irvin) who find out that their recent marriages were considered invalid because the pastor died before he filed the paperwork.

While the three best friends were trying to fix that problem, relationship problems with their "spouses" David (Ryan Kennedy), Nick (Travis Milne) and Mark (Steve Bacic) were starting to make them reevaluating their marriages.

I found the friendship between Casey, Erin and Stella to be absolutely wonderful. It was great seeing this solid friendship where they were there for each other through the good and bad times. They were each dealing with some form of stress from their lives and relationships such as Erin's mother-in-law trying to drive a wedge between Erin and David to Casey thinking Nick was cheating on her to Stella having to deal with Mark's expectations for her role in their marriage. They leaned on each other for sympathy and in finding solutions for their problems.

Nearlyweds really did a great job of showing why their friendship worked so well especially with how supportive they were. It was really refreshing to see.

It's been a while since I've seen this movie, I may have to pull the DVD off the shelf and give it a watch.
