Weekend Films: A Midnight Kiss and Holmes & Watson

I love watching movies and for this Weekend Films I have two very different movies. The first is the Hallmark movie A Midnight Kiss which stars Adelaide Kane and Carlos PenaVega. It premieres tonight at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark channel and follows a party planner and her brother's friend who is a documentary film maker, plan a huge New Year's Eve event. This looks like it will be an interesting romantic comedy, who doesn't love a little happily ever after.

The second movie is Holmes & Watson which is in theatres stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly as the titular characters. This movie is taking a comedic approach to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson solving mysteries. For some reason, this movie is receiving a lot of negative responses which I don't know why. Did people not realize that this was going to be a parody of Sherlock Holmes and not something more serious? Sometimes it's good to watch a ridiculous movie for fun.

I plan on watching the Hallmark movie tonight and hopefully get a chance to make out to the theatre to see Holmes & Watson.
