Characters Reading: Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony)

Rainbow Dash reminds me of someone who says they don't like to read or think it's something for nerds and geeks that is until they find a book that really sparks their interests in reading. Which is what happened in the My Little Pony episode "Read It and Weep". Following a bad fall, Rainbow Dash injured her wing and had to stay in the hospital for a few days to recover.

Rainbow was bored and restless and to avoid furthering that, Twilight Sparkle gave her the book Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone she retrieved from a nurse's cart. But Dash wasn't too keen on reading and tossed the book aside. But with nothing else to do after her friends left, she finally decided to read the book and she was immediately drawn into the exciting adventures of Daring Do. She was enjoying the story so much that she didn't want to put it down.

She never wanted to read because in her words that was for "eggheads" but once she found a book that interested her, she gained a new found love of reading. She realized how fun reading is and not to judge something without having tried it.
