My thoughts on the Henry Danger episode "I Dream of Danger"

I've seen a lot of fans mad that Henry Hart and Charlotte Page didn't kiss but I kind of figured it wouldn't happen, so I'm not disappointed. It was still a good and funny episode as usual but I also thought the ending was rather clever because the entire time the viewer was supposed to think this episode was about Charlotte stressing out about her continuous dreams about kissing Henry and worrying that her and Henry would actually kiss.

When instead there's this big twist, the entire episode is revealed to be Henry's dream. Story wise, I think the set up with the dream within a dream was so cool. I still think a potential romance between Charlotte and Henry could happen. The show seems to be slowly heading in that direction. I think this dream was about Henry realizing his feelings for Charlotte. I feel like dream!Henry was lying when he told dream!Charlotte he didn't see her in a romantic way because he only said that after she said the same thing about him. But I think the ending of the dream where they were about to kiss shows the truth that he likes her and not to mention his reaction to seeing Charlotte after he woke up. He was so totally freaking out and couldn't face her while trying to make a quick get away.

I hope after the mid-season break, the show will follow up and show Henry questioning his feelings for Charlotte. These two have been best friends for a long time and I don't think one episode would have resulted in them being in a relationship. That would have felt too much like insta-love which I can't stand. I don't think this storyline is over because there was just too much build up for this episode only for it to be dropped. I think there is going to be a gradual build up and perhaps before for the season or the series ends, Charlotte and Henry will admit their feelings and date. It think it will be more satisfying for the fans if it happened that way.
