The thing is, Nancy really tried to avoid being interested in anything to do with solving mysteries, so after a while, she put down this book and started to read an issue of InStyle magazine. She wanted to be a typical teenage girl but what I love about Nancy in this movie is that she couldn't stop being who she was and despite trying to please her father she knew she had to look into the mysterious death of the Old Hollywood actress Dehlia Draycott.
As much as I loved Nancy Drew and this movie, I couldn't stand the mean girls Inga and Trish, who were either trying to humiliate Nancy or use her to get to Ned Nickerson.
