Shadowhunters' Maia Roberts: Werewolf, Alpha and Restaurateur

One of the things I loved about the Shadowhunters series finale, is Maia Roberts opening her own restaurant called Taki's Diner. She is going to be extremely busy because not only is she the Alpha werewolf but now she's going to run her own business. The new restaurant is going to be where the Jade Wolf Chinese Restaurant (and former werewolf headquarters) used to be. Renovation had already begun with the walls being panted and I'm sure at some point Maia will change the furniture and a few architectural details to make the place look and feel new.

I like that Taki's Diner (which she named after her childhood pet) is going to be a special place that Downworlders (werewolves, warlocks, vampires, Seelies, etc.) as well as Shadowhunters could go to enjoy a good meal or drink.

You can tell that Maia is so excited about starting her business and I thought it was nice that she even honored Clary Fairchild (who was no longer a Shadowhunter and had no memory of being one) by naming a burrata salad after her. I'm sure the menu would be filled with so many different and imaginative meals for the Downworlders, she's even going to offer various specialty blood for the vampires.

From the minute Maia appeared on screen in the second season, she instantly became one of my favorite characters. She's a headstrong werewolf with a strong and sarcastic personality who took charge of her life and never let any obstacle derail her. She's very inspiring and it's no wonder she ended up becoming her pack's Alpha and starting her own business.
