Happy 4th of July!

I wanted to post something light and fun but when I think of the current state of the country it's hard to write something in celebration. Especially knowing there is an illegal person holding the office of President honoring the day with an authoritarian military event wasting tax payers money to boost his ego. And couple that with his horrible administration that makes a tremendous effort to ruin the country on a daily basis.

However, I feel like that's when we should make every effort to celebrate because they want us to feel hopeless and in despair. I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 4th of July than to celebrate all the amazing diversity within America. It might not have been what this country was founded on but it is now and there is no way people are going stop working hard to ensure that country becomes a better place for everyone.

So in honor of the day, I want to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July!
