Comic Book Wednesday: August 7th Picks

I know you can enjoy horror stories all year long but I feel like DC comics should have waited until fall to have released the Dceased miniseries. There is just something about that time of the year, that's perfect for telling these types of stories.

Anyway, aside from Deceased, I have two more books (which are miniseries) on this week's list: Lois Lane and Invisible Woman. So, what books are you picking up?

DC Comics

Dceased #4 (of 6) (Card Stock Horror Variant)

Book: Dceased #4 (of 6)

Description:

The Daily Planet has become a beacon of hope for the living as the Anti-Life Equation sweeps the planet. What's left of the Justice League have begun to gather there, bringing survivors and family alike. But the city is being overrun with infected humans…and superhumans! The war for Metropolis begins!

Lois Lane #2 (of 12) (Putri Variant)

Book: Lois Lane #2 (of 12)

Description:

Famed writer and reporter Lois Lane never worries about speaking truth to power-so what's she hiding from the most powerful man on the planet (and her husband), Superman? Investigating a widening international conspiracy, Lois puts herself in the crosshairs with backup from an unlikely new ally from the streets of Gotham City.

Marvel Comics

Invisible Woman #2 (of 5)

Book: Invisible Woman #2 (of 5)

Description:

Susan Richards, the Invisible Woman, forms an unlikely - and uneasy - alliance with fellow spy the Black Widow to comb the alleys and palaces of Madripoor! They're searching for Sue Richards' first partner - but what they discover will shake Sue to the core and turn her mission upside down!
