Movie Challenge: The Star Wars Rewatch

I love Star Wars because the franchise follows a ragtag group of rebels going up against an enormous oppressive force. However, that doesn't stop them from fighting back and becoming the heroes the galaxy needed.

I really can't wait to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which will be in theaters on December 20th. I am so excited about seeing this new movie that I thought it would be fun to rewatch all the Star Wars movies before seeing the new one.

For the rewatch there are 11 movies and I figure we could watch them in chronological order. You can also do the release order as well, it's whatever makes you happy.

The rewatch starts this week and goes to December 19th with The Rise of Skywalker out the following day. Below is the schedule which has us watching three movies a week until the final week where we watch two. You can watch more if you want to but I figure with everyone so busy this schedule will make it a little easier to watch all the movies without feeling rushed for time.


November 24-30:

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie


December 1-7:

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story


December 8-14:

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi


December 15-19:

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi


December 20:

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (in theaters)
