Fashion Meets Fandom: Princess Leia Organa's Vest

In Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Princess Leia Organa was bundled up in this iconic outfit while at the new rebel base on the snowy and freezing planet Hoth. This was one of my favorite outfits, it looks warm with all the extra cozy layers, functional and stylish.

As much as I love her entire outfit, for this Fashion Meets Fandom I wanted to focus on her vest. It has a sporty feel with a quilted pattern yet looks soft, sleek and sophisticated. I think it would be perfect for a winter day or for a fun weekend getaway.

Leia certainly wasn't on a fun weekend getaway but she did look authoritative and chic while she led the Rebel Alliance. To get the look, I found three different vests: a high-end one with a removable hood, one that's sleek and simplistic and the last has a sportier feel. I think each piece would fit perfectly in Leia's Hoth wardrobe.
