Comic Book Wednesday: January 1st Picks

Happy New Year and Happy Comic Book Wednesday! I hope this new year will bring us less bad writing and gimmicks but more writers who understand the characters they are writing about. As well as more amazing and well written stories with equally amazing artwork.

My first list of the year and I have two new books on it: Star Wars and Thor. The Star Wars series takes place after The Empire Strikes Back and it'll be interesting to see what new stories will be written and see what new adventures the characters will find themselves in. As for Thor, I guess the new series is connected to the King Thor miniseries. I'm not sure since I still need to read the miniseries but I'm still going to pick this up.

Anyway, what books are you picking up this week?
