Fashion Meets Fandom: Velma Dinkley Inspired Outfit

Since I love mysteries and fashion, I thought it would be fun to create a Fashion Meets Fandom for my favorite mystery solving bookworm Velma Dinkley. From Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? to all the various movies and shows, Velma is usually shown wearing an orange turtleneck paired with a red pleated skirt.

Despite being the wisest and smartest member of Mystery inc., she does have a knack for losing her glasses. However, her iconic outfit has never lost it's appeal and it inspired me to create an look for her.

The outfit I put together still has that Velma's classic style but I updated it by pairing the orange turtleneck with red pants. To complete the look, you can pair it with black Mary Jane flats or heels.
