Happy World Book Day!

What better way to celebrate World Book Day (and National Reading Month) than by finding some time to read? What book (or books) are you currently reading?

Although today's WBD is for those in the UK and Ireland, I still wanted to wish everyone a Happy World Book Day. For us in the United States it's next month on April 23rd, I'm not sure what the dates are for other countries but I think it's the 4/23 as well. Regardless, I'll wish everyone a Happy World Book Day again in April.

According to the World Book Day website, the day was created "to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own". I think that's absolutely wonderful and to add to that I also hope the day will encourage everyone to read. It doesn't matter if it's a physical, digital or audio book, all that matters is you're taking a little time to read.
